OL's New Football Shirt for the 2024-2025 Season: A Fusion of Tradition and Innovation
Olympique Lyonnais and adidas are proud to present the home shirt that the players will wear for the 24-25 season. Combining the authenticity of the club with that of the city, at the heart of a modern design, the shirt is inspired by the two rivers that flow through the city: the Rhône and the Saône.
In the image of the river and its tributary, two red and blue stripes start from a subtle V-neck and run down the length of the jersey until they unite in the centre, symbolising the Confluence as the emblem of the city of Lyon.
Red and blue colour inserts along the silhouette, extending onto the matching shorts, complete the strong look of this home shirt.
Lastly, the elegant signature on the inside of the collar, with its gold accents, is a reminder of the convergence of the Rhône and Saône rivers, and is recognisable by its design in reference to the city's street signs.
